Checking an Image Right after Shooting

Checking the Image
After a photo is taken, the image displays on the LCD monitor for two seconds.
There are two ways to display the image for longer.
2Keeping the Shutter Button Pressed
The image continues to appear on the LCD monitor as long as you keep the
shutter button fully depressed.
2Pressing
If you press
while the image is displayed on the LCD monitor, it will continue to
display even after the shutter button is released. Press the shutter button halfway
again to stop displaying it.

• You can perform the following while images are displayed.
– Erasing Images Singly (p. 9, 104)
– Displaying Images in detailed display mode (p. 30)
– Magnifying Images (p. 93)
– Attaching Sound Annotations (p. 98)
Changing the Image Display Duration
The length of time images are displayed after a photo has been taken can be
changed from 2 seconds to 10 seconds or turned off.

In the [
(Rec.)] menu, select [Review].
• See Selecting Menus and Settings (p. 38).

Select a Review setting and press the
button.
• With the [Off] option, the image will not
automatically display.
• With the [2 sec.] or [10 sec.] options, the image
will appear for the time selected.
• You can continue to display the image as long as
the shutter button is fully held pressed regardless
of the Review setting.
• Another picture can be taken even while the last is displayed.
