Using DTMF Tones

You can send numbers to the network as dual tone multi-
frequency (DTMF) tones during a call. Use DTMF tones to
communicate with automated systems that require you to
submit a PIN code, password, or credit card number.
To set DTMF tones to be long, short, or off:
Find the Feature
Press
1 S
2 CHANGE key
3 S
4 Select key
Short
sends a short, fixed-duration tone for each key you
press. Long sends each tone for as long as you press the
