5. Accessory box relay

• Disconnect the accessory box relay from
the wire harness.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) and bat-
tery (12 V) to the accessory box relay termi-
nals as shown.
Battery positive terminal → brown 1
Battery negative terminal →
Tester positive probe → brown 3
Tester negative probe → orange/white 4

• Does the accessory box relay have continu-
ity between orange/white and brown?
YES

6. Accessory box solenoid

• Remove the accessory box solenoid cou-
pler from the wire harness.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) to the
accessory box system solenoid terminal as
shown.
Tester positive probe → orange/white 1
Tester negative probe → black 2

• Measure the accessory box solenoid resis-
tance.

19 ~ 21 Ω at 20 °C
• Is the accessory box solenoid OK?
YES

7. Wiring

• Check the entire accessory box system's
wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
• Is the accessory box system's wiring prop-
erly connected and without defects?
YES
This accessory box
system circuit is OK.
