Your BlackBerry device's QWERTY keyboard makes text entry easy. Here are a few tips:
Capitalize a letter
Insert a period
Type the alternate
character on a key
Type a symbol
Insert an accented
character

Press twice.
Press and the desired key.
Press and the letter key that appears below the
symbol you want.
Press and hold a letter key and slide your finger left or
right on the trackpad.
