B ATTERY R EMOVAL & I NSTALLATION
To remove the batteries; open the case and slide thte battery compartments doors outwards.
(See p age 5 a nd 6 )
New, Alkaline or Lithium, 'AA' batteries must be inserted with the orientation as shown in the
compartment. As with most electronic devices the negative ( -­‐ ) orientation of the batteries
should be against the springs. Failure to insert the batteries properly will cause damage to the
unit.
Once batteries are properly installed and with the orientation correct, simply slide the battery
compartment d oors b ack i nto i ts f inal l ocked p osition. S hould t he b attery d oors n ot w illingly s lide
into i t d estination, r emove t hem a nd e xamine t he a rea o f p ossible d ebris t hat m ay b e c ausing t he
issue.
NOTE: R eplacing t he b atteries w ill n ot r eset t he c ameras c urrent c onfigurations.
