Volume
You can set different volumes for the ringer, speakerphone, text messages,
picture mail, voicemail, alarms, and applications.
To adjust the ringer or key tone volume:
1. Press

Ringer: Press the navigation key left or right until the desired volume
level is selected. Press
the left softkey

Speakerphone: Press the navigation key left or right until the desired
volume level is selected. Press

For the other options, select Use Ringer Vol. to use the settings
assigned to ringer. Select Separate Vol. to use a custom volume
setting. Use the navigation key to highlight Always Vibrate and press
to enable or disable it. Press the left softkey

Tip: You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume
during a call) using the volume key on the side of your phone.
Alerts
Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you change service areas,
once a minute during a voice call, or when a call has been connected.
The different actions available are:
•
Minute Beep: An alert tone is sounded every minute that you are
connected.
•
Service: An alert tone is sounded when you come in or out of your coverage
area.
•
Connect: An alert tone is sounded when you are initially connected.
