When the IAD is behind one Firewall or NAT Router, and the phone is behind another
Firewall or NAT Router, there is no way to configure the two devices so that they will
communicate properly.
This is true when each device is on a private network and neither can send packets to
the other through the Firewall/NAT routers.
In this example, the telephone cannot send packets to the IAD card using the card's
192.168.1.2 address, and the card cannot send packets to the telephone using the
telephone's 10.0.0.109 address.
Even if both routers are configured to forward the UDP packets for call control and
voice, this topology cannot be accommodated. Instead, give the IAD card a public
address and set the firewall on the IAD side of the network to treat it as a public
network server. This will allow you to follow the instructions under "IP Phone Behind
a NAT Router" to set up the network.
