COMPATIBILITY ISSUES

DATA CONNECTIONS

The HTC Aria has both 3G and WiFi capability. The 3G connection is carrier dependent but can be rendered
inactive for a time. WiFi can be enabled and disabled to save power as needed. It will drain the phone's
battery faster if it is active.
If both the 3G and WiFi are active at the same time, the phone will automatically attempt
to connect to any detected wireless networks before it will allow an active 3G
connection. If you intend on using a 3G connection instead of WiFi, disable the WiFi
system.

CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER

With the included USB cable (MicroUSB to USB),
this phone can be connected to a computer. After
connecting it to a computer, this menu will appear. If
the phone is connected as "Charge only," the phone
will not appear as a device attached to the computer.
If "Sync" or "Disk Drive" is selected, then the
computer will detect the phone and attempt to load
drivers to allow connection.
Using the disk drive function, access is limited to
the memory card installed on in the phone.
Depending on the size of the memory card, files,
images and video can be uploaded to be accessed
later on the phone. Folder arrangement does not
matter, if files are loaded in as a folder, the phone will
still read them as individual files.
