Selecting an Index Item

If an index has been included with a track, you can specify the index number to begin playback from that index number
position.
Selecting an index item using [CHAP./INDEX] (Index search)
While an Audio DVD disc is playing

While pressing [CHAP./INDEX], use the number buttons to specify the index number.
• Playback starts from the selected index number.
Using the ¢ 4 buttons to select an index item (Index skip)
While an Audio DVD disc is playing
While pressing [CHAP./INDEX], press ¢ or 4 to select the index number.

¢ : Each time you press the button the index number increases by one.
4 : Each time you press the button the index number decreases by one.

Still image display operations

Some DVD Audio discs include still images that appear while the disc is playing. You can perform the following still
image display operations while B.S.P is on.
Advancing/replaying still images [PAGE +/–]
While an Audio DVD disc is playing

Press [PAGE+] or [PAGE –]
PAGE +: Displays the next still image.
PAGE –: Displays the previous still image.
* B.S.P. appears in red only when the disc includes still images that can be browsed.

Jumping to specified still images on a disc [RETURN]

While an Audio DVD disc is playing (Only when B.S.P. is on)

Press [RETURN].
Jumps to the specified still images on the disc.
• Some discs do not include still images that can be browsed by pressing [RETURN]. In this case,

is displayed.
