14 Troubleshooting - Zte F150 User Manual

Please check the manual thoroughly before contacting your service provider.
Symptom
"Enter PIN code" is shown
" No USIM detected" is shown
"Enter the unlock code" is shown
(No) key tone when pressing keys
No incoming ring tone
No alarm tone
A phone number cannot be dialed
Short message cannot be sent
The battery discharges quickly
The handset gets very warm.

14 Troubleshooting

Input the correct PIN number. See Settings-Security.
Check you have inserted a valid USIM card. See Installing the USIM Card.
Enter the unlock code. Default is 0000. See Settings, Security.
Check the Keytones settings in the current profile.
Check the ring tone and ringing volume settings in the profile.
Check the profile setting (silent) and the alarm ring setting.
Check whether any call restrictions are set. See Call Barring.
Check the SMS centre setting in the SMS-Settings menu. Restore defaults.
The battery life is expired. Purchase a new battery from your dealer.
It is normal for phone to get warm during long calls, when using the browser
and when charging the battery.
