HDMI/MHL AND USB PORT INFORMATION

HDMI/MHL (Input located on the side of the unit)
This input can be used for devices with HDMI or MHL output ports (such
as smartphones, tablets, HDMI/MHL devices) and may require the purchase
of an HDMI cable and HDMI adapter which is available from your device
manufacturer� Each device has unique requirements, please consult with
your device or smartphone manufacturer to determine which type of
output your device supports�
Note: Some adapters may require power� Do not use the USB port on the
side of the unit� Use a USB Vehicle Power Adapter�
Smartphones and tablets
For Apple products, go to the Apple Store or enter the following link
into your web browser to find the adapter required for your device�

Note: Some Samsung smartphones may require an additional 5-pin micro

USB Port
The USB port provides the following function:
1� Media port for USB thumb drives
• T he Media port allows for the playing of MP3 music files, jpeg files
and some video file formats when the USB source is selected� Video
formats supported are some Xvid and some AVI file types� Video
resolution must be 720 x 480 or smaller�
