The car
serial number
is
on
a plate attached
to r
ight
side of cowl, under the
hood, and also on
left front
body hinge
pillar.
The first digit
of
serial
number
indicates
where car was built.
"I"
indi-
cates Flint, "3" indicates Linden, "6" indicates Atlanta, etc.
Duplicate S
erial
Numb
er Plate.
In order to obtain a new serial number plate, when the original
plate is mutilated, lost or stolen in the field, it will be necessary to submit a notarized affidavit on
a form which will be furnished upon application to the Servce Department, Buick Motor Division,
