Upgrading over the air
The device can be directly upgraded to the latest software by the firmware over-the-air
(FOTA) service.
On the Applications screen, tap Settings → About phone → Software update → Update.

Setting up parental controls

You can control the duration that children can use the device and the applications that they
can access.
On the Applications screen, tap Settings → Parental Control.
When you set up parental controls for the first time, you will be prompted to set a PIN. The
device requires the PIN whenever you use this feature.
This feature may not be available depending on the region or service provider.
Setting a time limit
Tap Time Manager and select a time limit or set a duration that children can use the device. If
children use the device for longer than the time limit, the device switches to sleep mode.
Restricting children's access to applications
Tap Apps for children. All applications on the screen are selected. To restrict children's access
to specific applications, deselect the applications and tap Done. The deselected applications
will not appear on the Applications screen.
Changing the PIN
Tap Change PIN, enter the current PIN, and then enter a new PIN.
