The environmental specifications and requirements for the Universal
Storage Platform VM include:

temperature is 21–24°C (70–75°F).

NOTE:
1. The requirements for operating condition should be satisfied before the storage
system is powered on. Do not exceed a maximum temperature of 90°F (32°C) at the
air intakes.
2. Non-operating condition includes both packing and unpacking conditions unless
otherwise specified.
3. For shipping/storage, pack the equipment using the factory packing.
4. No condensation in or around the drive should be observed under any conditions.
