Text Messaging

Your phone supports four text modes:
T9 mode: This mode allows you to type words with only
®

one keystroke per letter and the phone predicts the word you
want. For example, to type run, you type 1, 3, 8 and press
the OK key.
Alpha mode: This mode allows you to type letters by
n
pressing the same key until the correct letter displays.
For example, to type run, you type 1 twice, 3 once,
and 8 twice.
Number mode: This mode allows you to type numbers.

Symbol mode: This mode allows you to type symbols,
n
such as punctuation marks.
Tip: When typing a message, press the Right Soft key to switch
between text modes.
Separate charges may apply to send/receive domestic/international text messages.
