*If you have not connected a subwoofer, you should connect front speakers that are capa-
ble of producing bass under 100 Hz if possible.

Adjust the settings to suit the speakers you have connected (- page 38,
"Speaker settings").
Turn V.S.S. off. Sound will only come from the front speakers if V.S.S. is on.
