Camera settings

, and configure the settings for Camera.
• U ser type: Select the operation type for basic or expert use.
• A F sound: Adjust the auto focus sound.
• B eep: Activate or deactivate beep sounds.
• D escription: Display mode descriptions.
• G uidelines: Display a guide to help you compose a scene.
• A uto screen off: Set the length of time the device waits before turning off the display's
backlight.
• R eview: Briefly display photos or videos taken.
• S ignature: Use this to add a signature to the image.
You cannot use this feature when the Date/time Imprint setting is activated.
• D ate/time Imprint: Use this to imprint the time and date on photos.
• Y ou cannot use this feature when the Signature setting is activated.
• T he time and date cannot be imprinted on raw format files.
• G PS tag: Attach GPS information (location and time) and weather information to the file.
Activate this feature when taking photos to create albums in Story Album or use the
photo suggestion feature.
• T o improve GPS signals, avoid shooting in locations where the signal may be
obstructed, such as between buildings or in low-lying areas, or in poor weather
conditions.
• Y our location may appear on your photos when you upload them to the Internet.
To avoid this, deactivate the GPS tag setting.
• V oice control: Activate or deactivate the voice recognition to take photos or videos.
• C ontextual filename: Set the camera to add contextual tags, such as location
information, to filenames.
• T o use this feature, you must activate the GPS tag setting.
• T he contextual information appears in the display language used by the device at
the time the files were created.
