6) Enter the appropriate value (number of
pulses) to indicate the direction of
movement using the keypad.
Use the number of pulses, a single pulse
being the equivalent of 0.34 mm. Increase
the value if the original was on the left of
the V marking for a shift to the right;
decrease the value, on the other hand, if the
original was on the right of the V marking
for a shift to the left.

CHAPTER 5 TROUBLESHOOTING
7) Place an original (A3 or 11x17) on the
original tray, and press 'OK' once again.

The original will be moved to and
stopped on the copyboard glass.
8) Open the ADF, and check the position of
the original on the copyboard glass.
9) Close the ADF slowly, and press 'OK'.
Caution:
The setting will be stored in memory
when the original is discharged. Be sure
to use the foregoing method to discharge
the original whenever you have changed
the setting.
