Check for plate warpage on a surface plate,
using a feeler gauge.

GUIDE INSPECTION

Check the slots in the outer drum for nicks,
cuts or indentations made by the friction
discs.
Measure the I.D. o f the clutch outer and the

CLUTCH INSTALLATION
Install the spring seat, disc spring, clutch plate
€3 and set ring i n the clutch center.

Make sure that the s e t ring is securely
seated i n the clutch center groove.
