Uninstalling the WD SmartWare Software

Important:
Uninstalling the WD SmartWare software deletes all existing backup job
configurations. You must restart the backup job manually after reinstalling the software.
(See "Backing Up Your Computer Files" on page 32.)
Use your operating system's Windows Installer utility to uninstall the WD SmartWare
software:
1.
Click Start > (All) Programs > Western Digital > WD SmartWare > Uninstall
WD SmartWare.
2. Click Yes at the Are you sure... prompt.
Note: You can also use your operating system's Add or Remove Programs
function to uninstall the WD SmartWare software.
