Engine Idle Speed - Honda VTX1300C VTX 2004 Owner's Manual

The best way to assure proper carburetion
is to see your Honda dealer for regularly
scheduled servicing, including individual
carburetor adjustment and synchronization.
Remember, idle speed adjustment is not a
''cure-all'' for other problems in your
engine's fuel-delivery system. Adjusting
the idle will not compensate for a fault
elsewhere.
The engine must be at normal operating
temperature for accurate idle speed
adjustment.
