    Ports and operating elements Switching on the notebook ► Slide the release button in direction of the arrow (1) and open the LCD screen (2). ► Press the ON/OFF switch (1) to switch the notebook on. The power-on indicator is lit. If you have set a password, you must enter this when asked to do so in order to start the operating system.
