Searching for a blank section

You can search for space for a new recording on the disc (at least 1 minute of blank space), for
example at the end of existing recordings.
This only works with discs which have already been stored in the Disc Manager.

Press DISC MANAGER on the remote control.

Select 'Browse discs' using CH- B or ACH+ .

Confirm with OK . A list of the recordings on the disc you have
selected will appear on the TV screen.

Use ACH+ or CH- B to select a disc (disc number) on which
there is enough space for the recording.
How can I see how much space is available for the recording?
The space available is designated as 'Empty'. The time is displayed next
to the title 'Empty'. You can use the REC MODE button to change
the recording mode (recording time).

Press ACH+ or CH- B to select the title 'Empty'.
You can use the N and O buttons to scroll a page at a
time.

Confirm with OK .
a I see the message e.g. 'Insert disc number' on my screen
b The selected recording is located on the Disc Manager disc with the
displayed disc number. Please insert the appropriate disc.
The DVD Recorder rewinds to the beginning of that particular part and automatically switches
to Stop.
