can control other devices via a scart cable

The scart or Euro-AV cable serves as the universal
recording and playback connector for picture-, sound
and control signals.With this type of connection, there
is practically no loss of quality during transfer. We
recommend that you use a scart cable when using this
video recorder.
Insert a cassette without erase protection
Check that the satellite receiver is connected
to the scart socket E E X X T T . . 2 2 A A V V 2 2 on the
back of the video recorder
Press the M M E E N N U U button on the remote
control.The on-screen menu appears
Use = = P P - - or ; ; P P + + to select the option
“SPECIAL SETTINGS” and confirm with O O K K
Use = = P P - - or ; ; P P + + to select the option
“SAT RECORDING”
Use P P S S + + o o r r Q Q S
“ON” to activate automatic recording from a
satellite receiver or “OFF” to deactivate it.
Confirm with O O K K . The screen will show the
message “STORED”
Programme the data on the satellite receiver
for the desired recording. If necessary, you
should refer to the instructions for your
satellite receiver for assistance.
