Test
· Connect the XL1's USB plug to a USB port on your game console or a PC.
· Connect the XL1's white and red RCA plugs to the white and red Audio Out jacks on a
CD/DVD/Blu-ray player.
· Play a movie disc or play a music track from a CD.
· If you cannot hear audio on one side or both sides, then please contact tech support.
· If you can hear audio clearly on both sides during this test, then your headset is
functioning properly. The issue would then be with your Xbox 360 AV cable or the
audio jacks on your TV.
Test
· Connect the USB plug from the XL1 to a USB port on your console.
· Make sure the XL1 in-line amplifier LED is lit *green*. If it's lit red, set the Mute
switch to "On" to make the LED green.
· Put on the headset and speak into the mic.
· You should hear your own voice in the headset. If not, then please contact
tech support.
Test
· Check that the Talkback Cable is connected securely to your Xbox 360 controller
and to your headset's in-line amplifier.
· Make sure your Xbox 360's Voice settings are configured properly; see page 10.
· Try using a different Xbox 360 controller. (A worn-out controller jack can cause
chat connection problems.)
· If the problem persists, then please contact tech support.
