Tape Speed Adjustment
Procedure :
1. Mode: FWD playback

Adjustment Limits : normal speed
Speed checker
– 3 to + 3 %
Confirm that the deviation between tape top and tape end is within
3%.
Adjustment Location : Capstan motor volume (See page 15.)

(test tape : WS-48A)
Playback Level Adjustment
Procedure :
1. Mode: FWD playback
2. Adjust SFR03 (L-CH) and SFR04 (R-CH) on MAIN board
so that the reading on level meter meets the adjustment limits
below.

– 4 ± 2 dB (0.39 to 0.62 V)
Check that the TAPE OUT level does not change even if Playback
and Stop operation is repeated several times.

3. Confirm playback the signal recorded in step 1 become
adjustment level as follows.
4. If these levels do not adjustment level, adjust SFR01 (L-CH)
and SFR02 (R-CH) on REC board to repeat step 1 and 2.
Adjustment Level : Difference of playback output of 10 kHz to
playback output of 315 Hz : 0 ± 0.5 dB
Adjustment Location : REC board (See page 15.)
Record Level Adjustment
Setting :
Set to the TEST mode. (See page 4.)
Procedure :
