PBX Mode
I f y ou are using a PBX ( Private Branch E x change) telephone sy stem , y ou m ay be
required to dial an ex ternal acces s code, s uch as [8] or [9] , prior to reaching an outs ide
line. Follow the step s below and enter that code in the PBX PREFI X f ield. This code
will then be added to all stored nu m bers up on dialing.

Note: The phone will autom atically screen all Pre-dial nu m bers prior to dialing if PBX
Pref ix is set. Enter the acces s code and the phone nu m ber y ou wis h to dial, the
phone will autom atically insert a ' pau se' af ter the f irst digit when dialing the nu m ber.
On the contrary , if the f irst digit is not the acces s code, the sy stem will clas s if y it as an
internal call and dial the dis play ed nu m ber only .
New Cal l Lam p
The Message W ai t i ng I ndi cat or / New Cal l Lam p will f lash when there are new or
unviewed Caller I D entries in call log if the lam p is switched on.
