Camera: Shooting options and settings

Flash

To take a realistic photo of a subject, the amount of light should be constant. When the light
source varies, you can use a flash and supply a constant amount of light.
Tap

• O ff: Use this to turn the flash off.
• A uto: Use this to automatically use the flash. The flash fires when the subject or
background is dark.
• R ed-eye: Use this to prevent a red glow in the subject's eyes.
• F ill in: Use this to always use the flash.
• S low sync: Use this to keep details of the background.
• R ed-eye fix: Use this to correct a red glow in the subject's eyes.
• T here is an interval between two bursts of the flash. Do not move until the flash
fires a second time.
• I f light from the flash is reflected, or if a substantial amount of dust is in the air, tiny
spots may appear in the photo.

Focus mode

Use this option to select a focus mode appropriate to the subject.
In expert mode, tap
• A uto focus: Use this to capture a still subject. When you half-press the Shutter button, the
focus fixes in the focus area. The area turns green when the focus is achieved.
• M acro: Use this to capture very close objects.
Flash, and select an option.
