FOAM INSTALLATION TIP! Your new foam will be a tight fit in the floor pocket. Over
time the foam will compress and fit in and out of the pocket with ease. For the first few
times of installation it will be helpful to start the zippers 6" from both ends of the floor
pocket before inserting the foam. This will allow for easier closing of the zipper. Always
pull zipper cars in line or parallel to the zipper.
FORCE & FORCE XL FOAM ASSEMBLY
The foam should be inserted before inflating the boat. Remove the split ring
from the zipper and open the floor pocket. Place the bottom piece (bevelled edge up)
into the pocket by inserting one end into place then arching the piece in the center
and inserting the other end. Flatten the piece by pressing down on the arched center.
Due to the curved hull, the piece may seem too long. It is not. Place the top piece
(bevelled edge up) in the center of the cockpit. A hands width, towards the rear of the
boat, from the second webbing loop from the bow. (This is a reference point to help.)
Pull the zipper closed and replace the split ring.
FORCE FOAM PIECES:
One 11" x 36" x 2" TOP piece
One 14" x 108" x 2" BOTTOM piece
FORCE XL FOAM PIECES
One 36" x 12" x 2" TOP piece
One 108" x 16" x 2" BOTTOM piece

It is important to sit in the boat first to find good balance and leg room. Your
position in the boat will also affect the performance of the boat. Your torso should be
seated slightly in back of the center of the boat with the knees comfortably bent. If an
adjustment is needed, start with the stern float bag. Let the air out of the bag and
locate the end of the deck zipper which is attached with Velcro inside the deck cover.
Open the zipper and locate the adjustable straps. Shorten or lengthen both straps
equally, from 1" to 6". ( A 1" adjustment makes a significant difference in the perfor-
mance of the boat) Zip up the deck cover, tuck the end of the zipper back under the
cover and attach to the Velcro. Fill the float bag making sure that the bladder is prop-
