Get Started

Activate your Account

Before using your phone, you need to activate
its service with Cox Wireless. To activate your
Cox Wireless account:
1. Turn on your phone.
2. At the home screen, select Activate. The
browser will launch.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to
activate your phone.
4. At the end of the activation process, the
phone restarts automatically.
5. Your phone is ready for use.
Note: During the activation process, you may
be prompted to update the phone software.
Follow the instructions to complete the update.

Accept Critical Update

When you receive a critical update
notification, do the following:
1. At the download notification, select OK. If
you do not respond to the notification, the
download will begin in sixty seconds.
2. During the download, you cannot receive
phone calls or messages. If the download is
successful, select Update.
3. During the update process, you cannot use
any function on your phone (including
emergency calls).

4. At the end of the update process, the phone
restarts automatically.
5. At the success notification, select OK.
Your phone is ready for use.
Note: The update may fail if your phone
battery is not charged enough or your phone
does not have enough memory space.

Accept Software Update

When you receive a software update
notification, do the following:
1. At the download notification, select OK.
2. During the download, you cannot receive
phone calls or messages. If the download is
successful, select Update.
3. During the update process, you cannot use
any function on your phone (including
emergency calls).
4. At the end of the update process, the phone
restarts automatically.
5. At the success notification, select OK.
Your phone is ready for use.
Note: The update may fail if your phone
