FREQUENTLY
1. CHECK BATTERY
a Electrolyte solution level in each Battery Ceil should be
even with bottoms of tubes in cells (Fig. 21) Add dis,.
tilled water if necessary, NOTE: DO NOT OVERFILL
b. Keep Battery and Terminals clean Refer to page 12
c. Keep Battery Bolts tight,
d, Keep Vent Caps tight and small Vent holes in caps
open.
eo Recharge SLOWLY at 3 amperes if necessary
2. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
Tire pressure in front Tires should be 14 pounds; rear Tires
12 pounds,
3_ CLEAN AIR SCREEN
Air Screen (Fig. t9) must be kept free of dirt andchaff to
prevent Engine damage from overheating
