Create print queue.
(1) Login as root
# login root
(2) Create print queue "kxp7110lp"
Example: Create print queue "kxp7110lp".
# /usr/lib/lpadmin –pkxp7110lp -mrmodel –ormkxp7110
-orplp -ocmrcmodel -osmrsmodel -ob3 -v/dev/null
The "lp" after "-orp" is the remote printer queue name.
(3) Enable print queue.
# /usr/lib/lib/accept kxp7110lp
# /usr/bin/enable kxp7110lp
(4) Start print scheduler.
# /usr/lib/lpsched

Print
Print using "lp" command.
# lp -d kxp7110lp <file name>
The following is an example of setting up the print queue using SAM utility on HP-UX system.

Start the SAM utility as a superuser.

Select Peripheral Devices from the main menu, then select Printers/
Plotters.

Select a Printer/Plotter from the Printers/Plotters menu.

Select Add a Remote Printer from the Actions list.

Select a printer name.
Example: Printer_1

Select a remote system name.
Example: KX-P7110_1 (node name of the KX-P7110 print server)
