Using the Flash
You can set flash mode to match the shooting conditions.

Tap the flash mode icon.

Tap the desired flash
mode icon (A48) to
select it.

The Flash Indicator
The flash indicator shows flash status when the shutter-
release button is pressed halfway.
On: The flash fires when the shutter-release button is
pressed all the way down.
Flashing: The flash is charging. Wait a few seconds and try
again.
Off: The flash does not fire. The flash mode icon is not
displayed.
