Internet connections

Define how your device connects to the
internet
Your device automatically checks for and
connects to an available known network
when a network connection is needed.
Selection is based on the connection
settings, unless there are application-
specific settings applied.
Select Menu Settings
>
Connectivity > Settings.
Automatically switch to a known Wi-Fi
network connection when available
Select Switch to Wi-Fi
only.
You can also connect to Wi-Fi networks
manually using the Wi-Fi wizard
application.
Only use a Wi-Fi connection
For Wi-Fi connections when in your home
network, select Data use in home
netw. Wi-Fi network

About Wi-Fi connections
Select Menu
Connectivity > Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi wizard application helps you
connect to a Wi-Fi network and manage
your Wi-Fi connections.
Important: Use encryption to increase
the security of your WLAN connection.
Using encryption reduces the risk of
others accessing your data.
Note: Using WLAN may be restricted in
some countries. For example, in France,
you are only allowed to use WLAN indoors.
For more information, contact your local
authorities.
Connect to a Wi-Fi network at home
To help save data costs, connect to your
home Wi-Fi network when you are at
home and want to browse the web on
your device.
