Compass display
1. Press the [ MENU ] key to display the MENU screen.
2. Select "GPS" on the screen by pressing the [ ◄ ] or
[ ► ] key, and then press the [ ENT ] key.
3. Select "COMPASS" on
the screen by pressing
the [ ◄ ] or [ ► ] key, and
then press the [ ENT ]
key.

up, COG (course over
ground), SOG (speed
over ground), altitude,
and the date will be dis-
played below the VOL
meter on the screen.
Note:
The power save operation of the GPS unit is disabled
while displaying the position information.

3. Select "GPS STATUS"
on the screen by press-

key, and then press the
[ ENT ] key.
The latitude and lon-
gitude of your current
position, a radar scope
showing the position of
captured GPS satellites,
bars indicating the sig-
nal strength of captured
GPS satellites, and the
date will be displayed
below the VOL meter
on the screen.
