TV Settings

Press the d button M z tab (A13) M TV settings
Adjust settings for connection to a TV.

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a multimedia interface.
HDMI-CEC (HDMI-Consumer Electronics Control) allows compatible devices to inter-
operate.

External Mic Sensitivity

Press the d button M z tab (A13) M External mic sensitivity
Set the external microphone sensitivity to Auto (default setting), High,
Medium or Low when recording movies.
When the microphone sensitivity is set to Auto, the camera automatically
adjusts the microphone sensitivity.

Select from NTSC and PAL.
Both NTSC and PAL are standards for analog color
television broadcasting.
• The available frame rates in Movie options (E30)
change depending on the setting of the video
mode.
Select a resolution for HDMI output. When Auto
(default setting) is selected, the option best suited to
the TV to which the camera is connected is
automatically selected from 480p, 720p, or 1080i.
When On (default setting) is selected, the HDMI-CEC-
compatible TV's remote control can be used to control
the camera during playback (E19).
