CHILD PROOF MODE (if you have small children)

CHILD PROOF mode

This model is equipped with CHILD PROOF mode. After this mode is set to ON, the washer will alarm if the lid is opened during
the operation. If you find the accident such as children's falling into the wash tub, please take necessary safety action
urgently.
If there are small children who require attention, set this mode ON.
WARNING: Pay attention to small children. Do not leave the lid open. Do not leave the washer filled with water. Never allow
children to look into the basket or play around the washer. Do not place the stand or box etc. near the washer.
The childproof lock (child safety
equipment) considers the case in which
a child falls into the wash basket by
accident. This CHILD PROOF function
gives an alarming noise about the trouble,
ceases operation and drains water.
When the buzzer makes a noise, open the
lid and check the condition inside.
The operation of the CHILD PROOF mode
•
If the lid is open during the operation in the CHILD
PROOF mode, the buzzer will sound and operation
will stop. Subsequently if that state persists about 5
seconds, it will be detected as an alarm and the
water will be drained. The buzzer will continue
sounding, unless the lid is close within 5 seconds,
or after alarm detection, unless power is turned off
or the CHILD PROOF mode is canceled.

If the machine is started with the lid open, the
water will be supplied for a while. When water
reaches a certain level; however, the buzzer will
sound and then after about 5 seconds, the CHILD
PROOF mode will work.

HOW TO USE CHILD PROOF MODE
Setting the CHILD PROOF mode
Press the
operating, follow the instruction below:

Canceling the CHILD PROOF mode

operation.
Adding Laundry of Detergent during the
CHILD PROOF mode
Open the lid and then after adding laundry or detergent quickly
with the buzzer sound, close the lid.
If the lid remains open, draining will start after about 5 seconds.

The washing machine will not operate if the lid is close after the
elapse of 5 seconds. In such case, cancel the CHILD PROOF mode
or turn the POWER off. Then set the CHILD PROOF mode once
again.
If the sounding buzzer is disturbing, cancel the CHILD PROOF
mode. Then after opening the lid, add laundry or detergent, close
the lid and set the CHILD PROOF mode once again.

Remember to reset the CHILD PROOF mode after the cancellation.
