    Harmful noise. Exposure to Radio Frequency Signals Your Iridium Extreme® is a low power radio transmitter and receiver. When it is ON, it receives and also sends out radio frequency (RF) signals. Your Iridium Extreme® is designed to comply with local regulatory requirements in your country concerning the exposure of human beings to RF frequency.

Your satellite phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy.     Charging / USB / External Antenna Adapters Included with the Iridium Extreme® are two adapters. These adapters attach to the bottom of your phone and are required for charging, connecting the USB data cable, or using the external antenna. These adapters are designed to provide a robust and flexible approach to using external accessories with the Iridium Extreme®.

    Do you have a clear unobstructed view of the sky? • Did you enter the number in international format? All calls made from the Iridium satellite system must be in international format. See “Placing a Call” on page 32.
  • Page 216 • Is it an old battery? Battery performance declines after several years of use. Replace the battery. • Make sure you have an Iridium approved battery installed. If you see ? on the display near the charging icon, you cannot charge this battery.

Allow the battery to fully discharge (until the phone turns itself off) and then charge the battery overnight. • Are you using your phone in extreme temperatures?
