STORAGE GUIDE

Extended storage, such as for winter, requires
that you take certain steps to reduce the
effects of deterioration from non-use of the
motorcycle. In addition, necessar y repairs
should be made BEFORE storing the
motorcycle; otherwise, these repairs may be
forgotten by the time the motorcycle is
removed from storage.
STORAGE
1. Change the engine oil and clean the filter
screen.
2. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor into
an approved petrol container.
Reinstall the fuel fill cap on the tank.
If storage will last more than one month,
carburetor draining is ver y impor tant, to
assure proper performance after storage.
