Read the instructions before you begin,
and make sure you have the tools and
skills required.
To help prevent the scooter from falling
over, park it on a firm, level surface,
using the side stand, center stand or a
maintenance stand to provide support.
Be sure the rear brake lock is set before
running the engine while the scooter is
supported by the center stand. This will
prevent the rear wheel from spinning
and avoid the possibility of someone
being injured from contacting the wheel.
To reduce the possibility of a fire or
explosion, be careful when working
around gasoline. Use only
non-flammable solvent, not gasoline, to
clean parts. Keep cigarettes, sparks, and
flames away from all fuel-related parts.
