Using the Turbo Timer Option

The CA-640
turbo timer option allows the vehicle to remain running
for five minutes after the ignition key has been turned off. The turbo
timer option must be enabled before the feature will operate, see
your installing dealer for information.
To activate turbo timer:
1.
After parking the vehicle, place your foot on the brake pedal.
2.
Place the shifter in the PARK position on automatic
transmisson vehicles, or neutral and engage the parking brake
for manual transmission vehicles.
3.
Continue to hold the brake pedal for 5-seconds.
The system will respond by turning the parking lights on.
4.
Remove your foot from the brake pedal.
5.
Turn the ignition key off, and remove from the ignition switch.
6.
The vehicle will remain running for 5 minutes or unless the
brake pedal is pressed.

Automatic Convenience Options

The CA-640
TM
performs a variety of automatic functions to enhance
security and comfort. Some of these features are programmable at
the time of installation. Please see your installer for further details.
Illuminated Entry
When the alarm system is disarmed, the vehicle courtesy lights will turn
on for 1 minute, or until the vehicle is started or the system is re-
armed.
Illuminated Exit
When removing the key from the ignition, the vehicle courtesy lights
will turn on for 1 minute, or until the CA-640
is not available if the "Retained Accessory Power" option has been
enabled on your system.
Automatic Arming
TM
The CA-640
will arm automatically 1 minute after the key is
removed from the ignition. This feature can be temporarily disabled
by placing the system into Valet mode.
Ignition Lock
If all doors are closed and the vehicle is started with the key, the
doors will automatically lock.
Ignition Unlock
When removing the key from the ignition, the doors will automatically unlock.
