If the lowest harness slot is above the child's shoulders,
do not use this child restraint. Verify that child restraint
is fully reclined. Infants have a tendency to want to
slouch. If harness height is still incorrect, call Consumer
Relations for more detailed help.
Forward-Facing Position:
Harness slot must be
even with or just above
shoulders. Adjust if needed (see "Adjusting Harness
System" section).
Note:
If the top harness slot is below the child's
shoulders,
do not
use this child restraint. Use a belt-
positioning booster instead.

WARNING
Do not mistake comfort for safety. Harness
system and buckle must be snugly adjusted.
Incorrect use of the harness system is the
most common mistake people make. It is
very important to read, understand and
follow all instructions and warnings.

Place the child's bottom
and back flat against the
child restraint.This will
increase comfort and
allow the harness straps
to properly tighten.
Note:
Harness straps
should be snug.
Rear Facing Position:
Harness slot must be
even with or just below
the shoulders. Make sure
that child restraint is fully
reclined. Adjust if needed

Determine which set of

harness slots work best
for your child (see
"Preparing Child Restraint
to Fit Your Child"
section).
To change harness

location:
Loosen harness by pushing
down on the harness
adjustment lever. Pull out
on harness straps just
above buckle plates.
From the back of the child

restraint, unhook harness
strap loops from splitter
plate.
From the front, pull

harness straps out of the
harness slots.
