Traction Off Light

This light also comes on along with a DIC message, if
there is a problem with the traction control system.

The light comes on when
the Traction Control
System (TCS) has been
turned off by pressing and
releasing the TCS/ESC
button.
The Electronic Stability
Control (ESC) Indicator
light comes on while
the system is controlling
the vehicle.
Electronic Stability Control
Indicator/Warning OFF Light
The system can be turned off by pressing and holding
the Traction/ESC control button.
This light, along with the appropriate Driver Information
Center (DIC) messages, indicates when the ESC
system is turned off.
The ESC OFF light also comes on when there is a
problem with the ESC system and the vehicle needs
service.
Check the DIC messages to determine if the light is ON
because ESC is switched OFF, or if there is a fault
with the ESC system.
