1. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick from the
right crankcase cover (page 38).
2. Place an oil drain pan under the
crankcase and remove the oil drain plug
(1).

3. Remove the oil filter (2) with a filter
wrench and let the remaining oil drain out.
Dispose of the used oil filter in a suitable
container.
