To skip back during
message playback
Press the 4 button during

message playback to skip
back to the start of the
current message. Press
again to return to the start
of the previous messages.
To skip forward during
message playback
Press the 6 button during
6
message playback to skip
forward to the next
message.
To delete individual
messages during playback
Press the 5 button during
5
message playback to delete
an individual message.
The prompt will announce,
"Message deleted".
To delete all messages
When all messages have
been played the prompt will
announce, "End of messages.
To delete all messages,
press 5".
Press the 5 button.

The prompt will announce,
"All messages deleted".

Memos

A personal memo can be recorded
on your Freelance XD 500 and left
as a message for another user.
Memos can be of any length, up to
the maximum recording capacity
(12 minutes), but you should try to
keep them short to allow time for
recording incoming messages.
You cannot record a memo
using the base unit.
