Installing Battery Packs

Using stick packs

Side-by-side packs

When using side-by-side packs, the battery retainer must be
completely removed and flipped over.
1. Remove the shoulder screw which acts as the hinge for the
battery retainer. Replace the shoulder screw with the
supplied metal post (found in your instruction manual
packet).
2. Install the batteries in the compartment and then place the
battery hold down over the posts with the flat side facing up.
3. Secure the battery hold down with body clips in the lower
holes in the posts.

See page 25 for information about installing 7-cell (8.4 volt)
battery packs in the E-Maxx.
