witha sparkarrestor maintained in effective working or-
der, or the enginemust be constructed, e quipped, a nd
maintained for the prevention of fire. Checkwithyour
state or local authoritiesfor regulationspertainingto
theserequirements, F ailure to followtheserequirements
is aviolation ofthelaw.This unit is factory-equipped
with a temperature limiting muffler and a spark
arrestor. If a sparkarrestor is required inyourarea,you
arelegallyresponsible f ormaintaining theoperating con-
ditionoftheseparts.Ifasparkarrestor isrequired inyour
area,contact yourAuthorized Service Dealer for the cor-
rect kit.

C. UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. After removing the contents from the carton,
check parts against the Carton Contents list.
2. Examine the parts for darnage. Do not use dam-
aged parts.
3. Notify your HUSQVXRNA dealer immediately if
apart is missing or damaged.
- It is normal to hear the fuel filter rattle in
an empty fuel tank.
