2. Enter FTP:// 192.168.1.254 in the address bar, and
press Enter.
If the default server port has been modified, please enter
FTP:// 192.168.1.254:port number to access the FTP
server.
3. In the login dialog box, enter the user name and password
for FTP server login (values that you set in Step 2), and
click Login.
After the user name and the password are verified, you can read data
from or write data to the mobile storage device connected to the
HG630b.
5.4.2 Accessing a Portable Storage Device Using a
Samba Server
Step 1 Connect the mobile storage device to the HG630b's USB port.
Step 2 Enable the samba server.
1. Log in to the web management page.
2. Choose Advanced > USB Port.
3. Click Samba.
4. Select Enable Samba.
5. Click Submit to save the settings.
Step 3 Access the portable storage device.
1. Choose Start > Run on your computer to display the Run
dialog box.
2. Enter \\192.168.1.254 in the Open text box and click
OK to display Connecting to 192.168.1.254 dialog box.
Then you can access samba server window and the contents on the
portable storage device that is connected to the HG630b.
