RX Series Excellence
RIM AND BEAM CONSTRUCTION
The RX Series rims are built using cross-binding and
lamination techniques to form a structure that is, pound for
pound, stronger than steel.
The beams are made of select
hardwood laminates, glued together under pressure, making them
virtually isotropic (equally strong in all directions) and impervious
to weather changes and warpage.
CONSTRUCCION DEL MUEBLE EXTERIOR Y LOS BARRAJE
En la construcción del mueble exterior de la serie RX se
utilizan técnicas de unión y laminación para formar un cuerpo más
fuerte que el acero. Los barrajes de la serie RX están fabricados
con láminas de madera dura selecta, encoladas a presión, lo que
los hace prácticamente isotrópicos (igualmente sólidos en todas
las direcciones), insensibles a cualquier cambio climatológico e
indeformables.
COSTRUZIONE DEL FASCIONE E DEI PIANTONI
I fascioni dei pianoforti serie RX sono costruiti con una
tecnica di fasciatura incrociata e laminatura che li rende più forti
dell'acciaio. I piantoni dei pianoforti serie RX sono fabbricati con
un selezionato laminato di legno molto duro, incollati fra loro
sotto pressione rendendoli virtualmente isotropici (equamente
forti in tutte le direzioni)
e insensibili alle variazioni
climatiche e praticamente non
si curvano.

PLATE CONSTRUCTION
The plate is the acoustically-neutral, iron superstructure of
the piano over which the strings are tensioned. All RX Series
plates are molded using the Vacuum Mold Process (V-Pro). Added
strength comes from the plate's Crossbone Design. The result is a
plate which is strong, stable and beautiful.
CONSTRUCCION DEL ARPA
El arpa es la superestructura de hierro acústicamente neutra
del piano sobre la que se tensan las cuerdas. Todas las arpas de
los pianos de cola de la serie RX están moldeadas utilizando el
Vacuum Mold Process (V-Pro). El nuevo diseño de los nervios
añaden fuerza al arpa. El resultado es un arpa fuerte, estable y
bella.
IL TELAIO
Il telaio, acusticamente neutrale, è la superstruttura metallica
del piano-forte su cui vengono tese le corde. Tutti i telai dei
pianoforti a coda serie RX sono modellati usando il metodo
modellazione sottovuoto (V.PRO) e rinforzati ancor maggiormente
dal nuovo design incro-ciato. Il risultato è telaio robusto, stabile e
bellissimo.
KEYSLIP
A piano's "keyslip" is the long, horizontal piece of wood that
covers the front faces of the keys. Because it is made of wood, a
keyslip can warp or bend with changes in humidity, causing keys
to stick. RX Series keyslips are reinforced with a steel inside liner
that prevents warping or bending in any direction. Keys move
freely as the keyslip remains straight and evenly distanced from the
key faces throughout the life of the piano.
BARRA FRONTAL DEL TECLADO
El listón frontal del teclado es la pieza de madera larga y
horizontal que cubre la cara frontal de las teclas. Por estar hecho de
madera, el listón se puede deformar o combar con los cambios de
humedad, provocando que las teclas se queden encajadas. El listón
frontal de la Serie RX está reforzado con un tira de acero que evita
deformaciones o combamientos en cualquier dirección. Las teclas
se mueven libremente pues el listón permanece recto y a la misma
distancia del frontal de las teclas durante toda la vida del piano.
BARRA DELLA TASTIERA
La barra posizionata nella parte anteriore, di fronte alla
tastiera,è costituita da un
lungo profilo orizzontale in legno
che copre la parte frontale dei tasti. Essendo in legno, può
deformarsi con il variare del tasso di umidità e causare un cattivo
funzionamento dei tasti. La barra nei pianoforti a coda della serie
RX è rinforzata con acciaio in modo di evitare le deformazioni.
Se la barra è ben diritta i tasti si muovono più liberamente
e rimangono omogen-
