band performances. Because it is digital,

saved to CD as is. Best of all, you can
distribute CD recordings on the spot.

All the functions
you need are built in.
Once the CD-2e is set up, you are ready to
record. There is absolutely no need for a stereo
microphone. With its high-performance built-in
stereo mic, high-quality stereo speakers, and
CD-R/RW drive all built in, the CD-2e is ready
for action the moment you turn it on.

You can take it anywhere
and record with battery power.*
Lightness is point of pride for the CD-2e.
Weighing in at just 1.1 kg (2 lbs, 6 oz) and
measuring 46 mm (1-13/16") thick, it's less of a
burden than most laptop computers. You can use
it anywhere since it's able to run off either AA
batteries (optional)* or the supplied AC adaptor.
*Use of battery power is only possible for recording to and playback from SD memory card.
To enable recording to and playback from CD-R/RW media, use the supplied AC adaptor.

When the time comes for recording, you want it
to be easy. The CD-2e is as friendly as a
cassette tape recorder. To record, simply press
[ Record] and [ Play] on the control panel.
Other controls include already familiar buttons
such as [ Rewind] and [ Fast Forward].
If you are comfortable recording to cassette or
MD, you'll be up and running in no time at all
with the CD-2e.

Operation is as simple as using a
cassette tape recorder. Start recording
by pressing [ Record] and [ Play].
